Scuba means Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus
Unlike snorkeling, you carry your own air and you are able to stay underwater easily and for a long time.
PADI ( Professional Association of Diving Instructors) is the world's largest diving association and , it's main office is situated in California USA. Approximately 70% of divers in the world are PADI certified divers.
PADI has 7 branches in the world and Fiji belongs to PADI Asia Pacific which has their office in Sydney, Australia.
Our diving courses are run by our professional and experienced PADI diving instructor.

   
What is Openwater?
ƒI[ƒvƒ“ƒEƒH[ƒ^[CƒJ[ƒhOpen Water means unlimited sea.
So once you become a PADI Openwater Diver you can dive anywhere in the world with another certified diver. Your PADI Openwater Diver Certificate is valid for life!
   
  What do we do during the openwater diver course....
 

Pool session or confined water session

We practise basic and essential skills like how to use dive gear, safety procedures, emergency procedures etc...
     
Theory

When we start the course, w
e give you a manual or CD-rom and you can start to study by yourself.Then you will sit down with our instructor to do the theroy. After the classroom session, we give you some small quizzes and a final paper exam.

Finally we dive in the sea! Don't be nervous, you just do the same things that you've done in the pool.
You log your dive in your log book with your instructor after the dive.
Enjoy 2 days of diving (4 dives) and you will be certified as a PADI openwater diver!

Diving is a activity which everybody who has good health can enjoy.
I was fortunate to have the opportunity to teach diving to various age groups from 8 year old boys to 80 year old ladies. Some of my students are handicapped, half of his body is paralized, some have only one leg and one man is deaf. But every body could enjoyed diving. Diving is not a competitors sports like harming others and winnning or losing games.

Diving is a activity which you can enjoy with your friend and share the
fun.

Openwater diver course course fee

Openwater diver course fee includes almost everything. Theory, pool session, 4 openwater dives, boat fee, rental of dive gear, application fee to PADI and a manual or CD-ROM.The only thing that you need when you send your application form to PADI is one passport photo.

We have a 3 days course and 4 day course.

We do pool session, theory and openwater dive session.

The 3 day course is for those who checked in the previous day or who have arrived early in the morning and started the course then. The 4 day course is for those who start the course from the afternoon.If your flight is long and you are tired, please tell us and then we can start the course the next day. padi

 
Frequent Q&A
 

Q:I've never dived before and I am not sure how to complete the course...
A:If you want, you can just join the introductory diving and then decide what to do. If you continue to the openwater diver course, we can count your introductory dive as a part of the openwater diver course

Q:Can i dive when i have my period?
A:Sharks do not come during your period! No worries. You can dive if you don't have period pain.

Q: When is the starting date for the course decided?
A: We can start your course according to your schedule.

Q:Do I need a medical certificate from a doctor?
A:No, you don't need a medical certificate if you don't have any problems with your health such as asthma, epilepsy, lung problems etc..

Q: What should i do if i cannot finish the course because of catching a cold or poor weather conditions?

A:We give you a referral form. You just go to another PADI diving school in the world within 12 months and finish the rest of the course which you could not finish.If you finish up to chapter 3 in theory, pool session and openwater dive 2, we can certify you as a PADI scuba diver.

Q:I like to do surfing too.Can you arrange the schedule?

A:Yes, we can arrange the schedule.

Q:Do you have English manuals?
A: Yes we have.

Q:I don't have any diving equipment with me. Can I attend the course?
A:We have rental diving gear and that is no problem.
